美國聯邦參議院當地時間18日晚間通過「2018財政年度國防授權法」（The National Defense Authorization Act of 2018，NDAA2018），除大幅增加軍費讓美軍添購武器外，更將要求行政部門提交美、台雙方軍艦互訪停靠的評估報告，正式寫入參院版法案。
NDAA2018提高2.1%國防預算，達到6400億美元，允許軍方採購F-35戰機、M1戰車與軍艦，並批准近50億美元給阿富汗安全部隊，包括一項將女性納入阿富汗國防的計畫。
針對北韓飛彈威脅，NDAA2018還批准85億美元推動美國飛彈防衛系統，比川普總統要求的預算足足多了6.3億美元。
NDAA2018首度寫入美台軍艦互訪內容，要求美國五角大廈在2018年9月1日前，遞交評估報告，包括美國軍艦訪問高雄港或其他港口的可行性評估，以及接受台灣提出停泊夏威夷、關島或其他地點的進港要求的評估報告。
美國國會每年審查國防授權法案，立法部門會對如何執行國防預算提出各種意見，但是國會表達立法部門的看法與見解，對行政部門並不具強制約束力。因此，美、台雙方軍艦能否互訪，關鍵因素仍在於行政部門，尤其是白宮的態度。

照片中可見，3名長髮女子靠坐在一起，各個美若天仙，且擁有修長美腿。該名網友說道：「猜猜誰是媽媽，由左至右123，答案公布了，你猜對了嗎？」，照片最右邊的是左邊2名女子的母親，但媽媽的容貌卻似乎比女兒還更年輕。
文章一推出，立刻掀起一陣熱議，網友們紛紛留言，「這根本就是三姐妹啊，完全看不出來是母女」、「媽媽身材有夠讚」、「爸爸好幸福喔~~家裡那麼多美女」、「我居然說不可能是右邊那位」、「媽媽根本凍齡」。
